Review Notes:
- No groundwater sampling occurred in third quarter 2024. - The
data for staff gauge and well pair SG-03/97-W-1 showed outward gradi
nt this quarter, however the ground water in this area is hydraul
cally controlled by nearby French drain groundwater capture sys
em. - Flow meter data were collected from each sump and from the to
al combined (overall) flow meter to perform a total water ba
ance check for the NE System. The combined flow from all sump flow
eters was outside the expected range of accuracy compared to the
verall system flow meter for Q3 2024 (greater than 3 percent d
fference) due to piping leaks and electrical issues in the su
p at S-9 and S-11. S-9 and S-11 were serviced in third quarter 2024.

Review Notes:
- SSIs: boron at MW-16-01; calcium at MW-16-01, MW-16-05, and MW-16-06;
sulfate at MW-16-01, MW-16-05, and MW-16-06; total dissolved sol
ds at MW-16-01 and MW-16-06. - Alternate Source Demonstrations acceptable
- Boron at MW-16-01; total dissolved solids at MW-16-01 and
W-16-06; sulfate at MW-16-01 greater than Part 201 Generic Residen
ial Cleanup Criteria. - Sulfate at monitoring wells 00-W-103, 02-W-
14R, 06-W-01R, 06-W-11, 06-W-16, and 06-W-21 greater than Part 201 G
neric Residential Cleanup Criteria. - Initial upward trends were o
served in monitoring wells 06-W-11, 06-W-08, and 06-W-16 in fourth q
arter 2023 but declined substantially in second quarter 2024 and are not c
nsidered significant. - Elevation data recorded at staff ga
ges and piezometer/well pairs demonstrate inward gradients around the landfill.

Review Notes:
- No groundwater sampling occurred in first quarter 2024. - The
data for staff gauge and well pair SG-01/96-W-10R showed outward gradi
nt this quarter, however the ground water in this area is hydraul
cally controlled by the nearby French drain groundwater capture sys
em. - Monitoring well 06-W-14 was damaged during third quarter 2023
maintenance activities so no groundwater level measurement was able
to be recorded in first quarter 2024; therefore, no inward or ou
ward gradient can be assessed for this staff gauge/well pair. Mo
itoring well 06-W-14 was replaced on April 15, 2024, and staff
auge SG-04 was repaired on April 15, 2024. - The combined flo
from all sump flow meters was outside the expected range of ac
uracy compared to the overall system flow meter for first quarter 2024 (g
eater than 3 percent difference) due to piping leaks in the sump a
S-10 and S-11. S-10 and S-11 will be serviced in second quarter 2024.

Review Notes:
- SSIs: boron, calcium, sulfate, and total dissolved solids at MW-16-01;
calcium and sulfate at MW-16-05; calcium, sulfate, and total dissol
ed solids at MW-16-06. - Alternate Source Demonstrations acceptable
- Boron, sulfate, and total dissolved solids at uppermost useabl
aquifer monitoring well MW-16-01 was greater than Part 201 Generic
Residential Cleanup Criteria. Sulfate and total dissolved soli
s at uppermost useable aquifer monitoring well MW-16-06 was gre
ter than Part 201 Generic Residential Cleanup Criteria. - Shallow
sand unit monitoring well 06-W-14 not sampled due to damage and
will be replaced spring 2024. Shallow sand unit monitoring wells
06-W-16, 06-W-17, 06-W-19, and 06-W-22 were not sampled due to ina
equate volume/being dry. - Inward hydraulic gradients were unable
to be verified along the eastern edge of the Facility due to s
rface water elevations in perimeter ditch being artificially el
vated due to a beaver dam. - Second quarter 2023 initial upward t
ends of boron and sulfate observed during in the shallow sand u
it monitoring well 95-W-3R were not verified this quarter. -
Initial upward trends for sulfate were observed in shallow sand unit
monitoring wells 06-W-11 and 06-W-08. - Sulfate at shallow sand
nit monitoring wells 06-W-04R, 06-W-11, and 02-W-114R was greater than Part 201 Generic Residential Cleanup Criteria.

- No groundwater sampling occurred in third quarter 2023. - The data

ow outward gradients this quarter, however the ground water in thi
area is hydraulically controlled by the nearby French drain gr
undwater capture system. - The off-site shallow sand unit groundw
ter capture systems are effectively capturing COCs-affected gro
ndwater to the northwest, northeast, and east of the facility.

Review Notes:
-No groundwater sampling occurred in first quarter 2023. -The site-wide
slurry wall and perimeter ditch network continues prevent shal
ow sand unit groundwater beneath the site from migrating off-site.
-The off-site shallow sand unit groundwater capture systems are ef
ectively capturing COCs-affected groundwater to the northwest, no
theast, and east of the facility.
